I’m Joel. I write. For 15 years, I was a full-time writer of articles and books covering technology and video gaming.

Now, I rarely write professionally, because my body is too broken for me to reliably make deadlines if the work involves things I used to do: Bending over a computer to add/remove/adjust parts, lifting heavy stuff like PC cases, accepting heavy deliveries, and on and on. I do still love to write, though; writing was my first passion. Now my primary passion is my family, but writing is a pretty close second.
